Since 1999 the estate’s history has been intensely lived by the Amorim family.
Now in its fourth generation, the Amorim family has been linked to the wine trade since 1870, through its first trading activity - producing cork stoppers for the Port Wine Cellars, in Vila Nova de Gaia. It is now one of the most prominent family groups in Portugal, and operates in several countries of the world, in different business sectors.
The estate is now managed by Luisa Amorim, who has significantly augmented the family's wine business. With deep cultural awareness, the wines have ancestral roots in Portugal’s finest wine regions, including unique places such as the Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo in the Douro and the Quinta da Taboadella in the Dão region.
